Don Miguel
Named in memory of Miguel Mir Vanrell, a native from the island of Mallorca, Spain, Analisa designed and decorated this bedroom as a tribute to her father with the goal of reflecting his traditional Spanish spirit and capturing his warm, easy, jovial and artistic character. The result is a Master Suite chock-full of comfort and style, where Old-World elegance is mixed with a feel that is light and airy. The walls are graced by colorful paintings of Spanish Mediterranean scenery to enjoy while resting on the inviting King size canopy bed or kicking-back in any of the room’s cozy corners. For extreme relaxation, the jetted tub in the Master Bath is a must. Scented gel and lotion complete the experience. For your convenience a TV/DVD player combination with satellite functions is neatly tucked away in a roomy three-drawer armoire. Hair dryer is provided and an iron and ironing board are stored in the suite's walk-in closet, along with luscious linens and towels.
Don Carlos
Follow the charming upstairs hallway down from Don Miguel to find the delightful and cozy Don Carlos tucked away behind a striking hand-painted screen for added privacy. Appreciate the beauty and enjoy the comfort of the majestic Spanish-style Queen size bed while unwinding in the ambiance created by its decorative fireplace. The adjacent private bath is all vintage, coated in pastel shades and displaying just enough floral art work to make your mornings in Casa España feel like the first day of spring. Don Carlos has its very own TV set with satellite. A luggage rack, iron/ironing board, and hair dryer are stored in the large closet.
Cordoba Room
A beautiful city and province in Southern Spain, Cordoba is also the maiden name of Analisa's mother, Mrs. Della Cordoba de Mir. Using for inspiration her mother's regal yet sensible and practical nature, Analisa furnished this area to act as cozy corner and gathering area by day and comfortable bedroom at night. With its extra wide daybed and trundle, this room easily accommodates two adults. It has its own TV set with satellite connection, vintage chest of drawers and ample closet space.
